This is really just a public service announcement that everyone should at least consider. Again, this is not a pitch and I don’t get anything for it. Ok, here’s the deal:
Stanford University has developed a system/tool/application that will allow your computer to help crunch cancer data and other disease data for them. In doing this, they are able to analyze data in a way that was never possible before. It’s a very small program, and will only run when your computer is left idle or it uses a very very small percentage of your blazing fast processor. It will automatically send the results back to them. Your computer will have to stay on, but most of us just leave our computers on anyway.
